THE INSIDE EDIT

In May 2024, Dana Energy began a transformative journey to redefine leadership within the company. The launch of the MBA program for senior and middle managers was more than just an educational course; it marked the opening of a new chapter in learning, dialogue, and real-world decision-making.

In collaboration with Petrofarda Energy School and the Institute of Petroleum Engineering at the University of Tehran, this intensive program offered 240 hours of immersive learning covering a broad spectrum of topics essential for effective leadership in the energy sector. From high-level strategy and negotiation skills to upstream contract law and oil and gas economics, the curriculum was designed to be practical and relevant. Participants also explored brand management, finance for non-financial managers, and corporate governance.

The course was led by distinguished experts including Dr. Reza Dehghan, Dr. Mohammad Abooei, Dr. Abdolreza Honari, Dr. Reza Zarei, and other renowned faculty members. They guided the managers through rigorous discussions, exercises, and sometimes challenging reflections.

While the program has now concluded, its impact is already evident. Positive feedback and tangible outcomes affirm the effectiveness of this initiative. Yet this is just the beginning. Dana Energy remains committed to continuously developing its people by designing future learning paths, evaluating results, and building on the momentum this program has created.

Leadership is not a destination; it’s a journey, and at Dana Energy, that journey continues.
