Role Overview
As a Senior Cost Control Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Performing budgeting, revising budgets, and managing cash flow.
- Utilizing earned value techniques.
- Estimating actual costs based on daily reports of surface and subsurface activities and comparing them with a budget.
- Estimating the actual costs of work packages and disciplines and comparing them with the planned costs.
- Processing and reviewing subcontractor invoices.
- Preparing and updating cost databases and analytical dashboards.
- Tracing subcontractors’ contract details.
- Preparing periodic cost reports for managers and following up on cost deviations.
- Estimating extra work and claims costs.
- Preparing CBS (Cost Breakdown Structure).
Candidate Requirements
- At least 5 years of related work experience in the Oil field.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering.
- Teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of project and cost control.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Fluent in English.
