Responsibilities
- Lead and execute process optimization initiatives within the Exploration and Production segment.
- Analyze existing operational processes, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and monitor process improvement projects.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including procedures, workflows, and standard operating guidelines.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for operational enhancements.
- Provide technical expertise in process engineering, contributing to the successful execution of projects.
- Lead root cause analysis for process deviations, incidents, and non-conformities, and implement corrective actions.
- Participate in risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential operational risks.
- Design and deliver training programs to enhance process understanding and compliance among staff.
- Support the development and implementation of new technologies and best practices in process optimization.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, process engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in process engineering within the oil and gas industry, with a focus on Exploration and Production.
- In-depth knowledge of process optimization methodologies, process simulation tools, and data analysis techniques.
- Strong understanding of Exploration and Production operations, including upstream and downstream processes.
- Proficiency in process documentation, workflow mapping, and standard operating procedure development.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse teams.
- Proven experience in leading process improvement projects and managing change initiatives.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols, regulatory compliance, and environmental protection.
- Relevant certifications or professional memberships in process engineering are preferred.
