Project Accounting Specialist

Role Overview

  • Preparation of  legal books, registration, and acquisition of legal books for the upcoming year
  • Registration and acquisition of legal books for newly established companies
  • Preparation of reconciliation statements of accounts with individuals and preparation of bank reconciliation statements
  • Preparation and presentation of project accounting reports, preparation of contractor cards, and participation in internal and external meetings related to projects
  • Preparation of quarterly tax reports, preparation of insurance contractor status letters, collection, and submission of documents to social security and tax authorities
  • Collection and submission of documents to auditors and assistance in the closing of accounts and preparation of financial statements
  • Participation in inventory management as a supervisor and issuance of warehouse deduction and addition documents
  • Issuance of project documents, payment requests, and all public documents and control of requisition documents and issuance of accounting documents

 

Candidate Requirements

  • Familiarity with project accounting techniques and methods
  • Knowledge of laws governing insurance and tax of contractor agreements
  • Knowledge of principles and standards of accounting and tax laws
  • Proficiency in fundamental financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and comprehensive income
  • Knowledge of check issues, guarantees, banking laws, and money laundering
  • Knowledge and practical experience in tax auditing and insurance auditing
  • Monitoring project results and outputs considering project characteristics or delegated tasks
  • Identifying and controlling stressors and finding appropriate approaches for managing them
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
  • Knowledge of asset management standards
  • Proficiency in conducting asset management audits according to ISO 55001 standard
  • Familiarity with risk management principles (ISO 31000) and providing a comprehensive understanding of how to implement these principles in highly complex situations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • 4 years of experience in financial accounting/auditing
