Role Overview
- Reviewing incoming requests from other departments and purchasing necessary items according to the requests
- Reviewing incoming requests and purchasing necessities for the warehouse based on existing standards and organization regulations in the shortest time and highest quality
- Updating the internal and external commitments table and managing the payment schedule for commitments
- Collecting and managing purchasing documents, registering them in the system, and obtaining necessary approvals for payment
- Managing sent invoices and continuously following up on payment
- Sourcing and identifying products and suppliers
- Evaluating procurement tenders for goods and services at the level of small purchases and presenting them to the unit manager
- Negotiating prices, payment methods, and delivery terms for goods or services purchases
- Ensuring the quality of goods or services matches the requested specifications by the requester
- Allocating daily purchase requests based on project needs priority and planning daily activities of procurement officers.
- Managing and scheduling the daily workload of procurement officers and managing their requisitions
- Providing weekly and monthly reports to the direct manager
- Conducting initial and ongoing performance evaluations of suppliers periodically
