Responsibilities
- Lead the management of contractual affairs and agreements related to the Oil Tools Manufacturing business unit.
- Review, draft, and negotiate complex contracts, including supply agreements, vendor contracts, and service agreements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contract terms align with business objectives and legal requirements.
- Provide expert advice on contract interpretation, risks, and mitigation strategies to cross-functional teams.
- Assess contract compliance and monitor performance to ensure adherence to terms and conditions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, customers, and suppliers to foster positive interactions.
- Analyze contract terms, identifying potential areas for improvements, cost savings, and efficiencies.
- Participate in contract dispute resolution and negotiations, working to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations, and legal developments to ensure contract compliance.
- Provide training and guidance to junior team members on contractual matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in law, business, or a related field. Master’s degree or legal qualification is preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in contractual affairs, preferably within the oil and gas or manufacturing industry.
- In-depth understanding of contract law, commercial agreements, and legal principles.
- Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex contracts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess contractual risks and opportunities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in contract management software and tools for tracking and reporting.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple contracts simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and precision in the contract documentation.
- Demonstrated experience in contract dispute resolution and negotiation strategies.
- Strong commitment to ethical conduct, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Knowledge of oil tools manufacturing processes and industry regulations is a plus.
