In a country where the sun rises each day with warmth and promise, Dana Energy believes our mission goes beyond producing power. This vision inspired the creation of Idano, our flagship project that combines education, innovation, and energy. Through Idano, we aim not only to light homes. We also want to spark knowledge and hope in the hearts of the next generation.

From the very beginning, we understood that “energy” and “knowledge” must move forward together. As our vision states, we strive to be “at the pulse of people’s lives and societies, leading the way to prosperity and well-being.” What could be more meaningful than a child, in a small village classroom or under the open sky, discovering that they can help shape the energy future of this land?

The Birth of Idano: A CSR Initiative in Education and Innovation

Inspired by this vision, that belief gave birth to Idano, a name created from the fusion of three Persian words: Iran (ایران), Danayi, meaning “knowledge” (دانایی), and Noavari, meaning “innovation” (نوآوری). What began as a simple idea during a small gathering soon grew, through our collaboration with Aznik News Agency, into a nationwide CSR program.

Idano works closely with the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults, the SHAD online learning platform, and Aznik News Agency. Together, we create opportunities for teachers and children across the country to learn, create, and grow. Among its key initiatives are:

• Introducing Dana Doll, a playful and energetic companion designed to make learning fun.
• Training over 1,700 teachers through 16 hours of specialized courses on energy and creative thinking. The courses were delivered across 804 centers nationwide, both in-person and online.
• Bringing learning to life through puppet shows, interactive workshops, and play-based activities.
• Producing educational content for the SHAD platform, ensuring that even the most remote villages have access to quality learning.
• Creating the “Danayi” documentary, capturing stories of education and resilience among nomadic and rural communities in southern Iran.

For us, Idano is more than just a project. It is a bridge between education and energy, and a step toward a future built on creativity, wisdom, and opportunity.
