Successful Completion of Bahar Seismic Project

Dana Energy Public Relations: On Wednesday 6th Aug. 2014, Bahar 2D seismic project staff gathered in main camp to celebrate successful completion of the project. Started in early 2012, the project successfully covered an area of 20,000 km2 in two neighboring provinces of Fars & Bushehr.

The project acquisition lines consisted 1500 km and some 20,000 shoots in various geographical locations in mountainous areas. The project’s clients Mr. Hormoz Ghalavand, head of exploration directorate of NIOC, praised the teamwork and successful completion of the project. He also congratulated Dana Energy management for establishing such a robust and united team in upstream segment. Bahar project is successfully completed with good HSE and technical performance where some 2000 hours helicopter flight was carried out during the project to reach out the heights in mountainous areas.
