As Children’s Day approached, a group of Dana Energy employees and their children gathered for a joyful visit to Farda School and Energy Park at the Roodshur Power Plant.
This innovative learning space, inspired by modern educational models, offers children a new way to experience creativity, play, and discovery. It is a place where learning happens not through instruction but through freedom, curiosity, and choice.
Organized by our HR team, the event created a special opportunity for parents to become playmates once again. It reminded everyone that the child is not only present in our sons and daughters but also alive within each of us. That same childlike wonder carries the energy that shapes tomorrow.
Throughout the day, children alongside their parents explored the school’s creative workshops, from painting, crafting, and movement games to gardening, origami, and imaginative play. Each space opened a world of possibilities where education unfolds through exploration and joy.
Located within the Roodshur Power Plant complex, 43 kilometres along the Tehran–Saveh Highway, the Farda School was founded to promote a culture of free learning while introducing children to the concepts of energy and environmental awareness. Established in 2007 and now operated under the Mahtab Foundation, the school continues to nurture curiosity and innovation in the next generation.
By the end of the day, parents and children alike discovered a deeper meaning of energy. It goes beyond electricity and fuel. Human energy, when understood, nurtured, and shared, holds the power to build a brighter future for all.
The laughter and play that filled the day were a gentle reminder that Children’s Day is not only for the young but also a return to the source of life itself, where wisdom and play come together to create the future.
