Dana Energy’s Rig Solutions Contributes to the Development of Iran’s Drilling Infrastructure

Dana Energy’s Rig Solutions Business, established to complete our value chain and support our drilling fleet, has taken another important step in expanding its activities. Following our successful experience in restoring and upgrading in-house equipment, we have now entered national-scale projects, securing a major tender for the design and construction of a fleet of workover rigs.

Through a focused strategy, our Rig Solutions Business is playing a key role in strengthening Iran’s drilling infrastructure. Our journey began with supporting Dana Energy’s drilling operations and fleet and has grown through the supply of critical engine components, the refurbishment of top drives, and efforts to maintain the operational stability of our drilling rigs.

One of the business’s key operational milestones came during the development of the Sohrab Oil Field. Through the efforts of our Drilling Business Operations team, Dana-4 underwent overhaul and restoration in record time and at an optimized cost, enabling it to join the Sohrab field operations as one of the project’s key operational assets. This achievement reflects our organizational agility and our ability to turn operational challenges into opportunities.

In our latest and most significant achievement, we have secured a major tender from one of Iran’s key oil field development companies. By achieving the highest technical and financial scores among the competing bidders for the design and construction of a fleet of 1,200-horsepower workover rigs, our team has demonstrated its readiness to play a role in major drilling industry projects across Iran.
