Dana Energy Ranks Among Iran’s Top Employers

THE INSIDE EDIT

Sometimes, a ranking says less about where an organization stands on a list and more about the experience shaped within it. An experience told not from the outside, but by the people who live it every day. In the latest IranTalent Top Employers report, Dana Energy ranked second among companies in the oil and energy industry for employee experience, with a score of 3.8 out of 5. In the same assessment, Dana Energy also ranked second for work-life balance, with a score of 3.8; two figures that, taken together, offer a meaningful perspective on the experience of working at Dana Energy.

This Time, Employees Were the Judges

Published for the sixth consecutive year, IranTalent’s Top Employers report is based on two independent assessments: employee experience and employer perception among professionals. For the employee experience assessment, more than 55,000 employees from companies and industries across Iran evaluated their workplace experiences. Unlike rankings based primarily on external reputation or brand visibility, the scores in this section came from people who have worked at the organizations being assessed. Employee experience was evaluated across six dimensions: opportunities for growth and advancement, learning opportunities, compensation and benefits, work-life balance, management and leadership, and organizational culture and values.

Dana Energy’s second-place ranking in the oil and energy industry therefore represents more than an external recognition. It reflects how employees themselves assess their experience of working at the company.

Balance Beyond a Number

Work-life balance has increasingly become a defining factor in how people choose an employer and decide where they want to build their careers.

According to IranTalent’s report, 57% of professionals consider work-life balance one of the most important benefits they expect from a job. Against this backdrop, Dana Energy’s second-place position in the category carries significance beyond the number itself.

Balance does not mean working less or having an easier job. In an industry where projects can involve complex operations, significant responsibility, continuous activity, and high-stakes decisions, creating a balanced employee experience requires more than a policy on paper.

It can emerge through a combination of management practices, organizational culture, and the way work is structured. Ultimately, however, these factors are measured through everyday experience.

A Reflection of What Happens Within

Alongside the publication of the report, IranTalent’s Ham-Agah event, titled “Human Capital: From Pain to Transformation,” brought together and recognized leading employers across the country. Dana Energy was among the organizations presented with a Baztab Award.

The name of the award, meaning “reflection,” is particularly fitting for the nature of this assessment. What the report captures is not simply an image an organization creates for itself, but a reflection of what its employees experience while working there.

Seen from this perspective, Dana Energy’s second-place ranking in the oil and energy industry, together with its second-place position for work-life balance, is less a destination than a marker of the work taking place within the organization.

What We Live

An employer brand is built long before it appears in advertising or external communications. It takes shape within the organization itself: in the quality of relationships, the way people are managed, opportunities for growth, a sense of respect, and the relationship between work and life.

For Dana Energy, this year’s IranTalent report reflects exactly that.

This time, the picture has not been shaped behind the desks of Communications or Human Resources. It has emerged from the experiences of our people.

Rankings may change from year to year. What remains is the quality of the experience people carry with them from working at Dana Energy.
